IIT Bhubaneswar plans to setup centre of excellence for laboratory grown diamonds

IIT Bhubaneswar plans to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for laboratory-grown diamonds and a centre for materials characterisation, processing and manufacturing, according to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The new facilities will enhance research and development and innovation at the Institute, strengthen industry-academia links, encourage entrepreneurship, and create employment.
